Each FEBS Advanced Course Application will follow one of these two approaches:
Approach A – Pay Later when you intend people to apply to the course without payment of the registration fee, and then you will notify them if they are accepted, at the same time asking them to pay the registration fee at this point (by a certain deadline).
This may suit Advanced Lecture or Practical Courses.
Click here for detailed information on the Pay Later approach.
Approach B – Pay Upfront when — with the exception of travel award applicants — you would prefer asking people to pay the registration fee upfront at the point of application, then you will confirm their acceptance to the course afterwards.
This may suit some Workshops and Special Meetings. A small number of refunds may be necessary if applications are not acceptable.
Click here for detailed information on the Pay Upfront approach.
Note: organizers have been supplied website templates with one of these approaches, according to their preference given in earlier correspondence. No swap to the other approach is allowed.
