Application Approaches

FEBS Advanced Course have two application approaches, described below. Organizers are supplied with a website template with one of the application approaches, according to their preference given in earlier correspondence. No change to the other approach is allowed once the course website template is created.

Approach A – Pay Later when you intend people to apply to the course without payment of the registration fee, and then you will notify them if they are accepted, at the same time asking them to pay the registration fee at this point (by a certain deadline). 

This may suit Advanced Lecture or Practical Courses.

Approach B – Pay Upfront when — with the exception of participation/travel award applicants — you would prefer asking people to pay the registration fee upfront at the point of application, then you will confirm their acceptance to the course afterwards.

This may suit some Workshops and Special Meetings. A small number of refunds may be necessary if applications are not acceptable.
