Deleting vs. Cancelling Orders

If you want to make an order disappear, then delete an order. An order can only be deleted when an invoice has not been generated. 

Once an invoice has been generated, if the registrant wishes to retract their order then the order can only be cancelled. An order with an invoice generated cannot be deleted, it can only be cancelled.

Note that both deleted and cancelled orders show up in the orders dashboard. Deleted orders are red highlighted and cancelled orders are marked with an icon.

To help accountancy:

• Deleted orders do not show up in the pdf reports and exports to Excel.
• Cancelled orders do show up in the pdf reports and exports to Excel.
