What is a waiver?
The waiver method is used for orders of registrants who do not need to pay for their registration fee themselves, such as invited speakers, FEBS Diplome d’Honneur holders or other invitees by the organisers; so that they can choose a payment method on their web accounts and complete their registration orders.
Waived orders are valued at 0.
On Registrations >> Payment Methods, only tick yes to enable this method for zero-value orders.
How do I confirm waivers?
Just like you would confirm any other pending order, i. e. click on the red Record Payment (RP) button, fill out the details as needed and then confirm. As no payment has been made no invoice / receipt should be generated.
Should I confirm all waived orders?
Anyone could complete a registration order as an invited speaker without having been officially invited. In this instance they will have a waivered order. Hence before you change the status to confirmed, please ensure that those who have chosen the payment waiver are entitled to do so.
