On this page notifications are generated from the Templates.
To generate a notification:
- Navigate to Notifications>> Notification Generation.
- Select a Template Title from the drop down list.
- Apply Filters* depending on the specific group of registrants you want to notify.
- Press the "Preview" button to see exactly what your notification will look like. When clicked it will prompt a pop-up window with a preview of the first email that will be generated and with the total number of emails that will be generated.
- Press the green "Generate" button to go to a confirmation screen with the list of targeted registrants.
- This screen shows the list of targeted registrants. By default all registrants that meet the criteria are checked. To remove any from the list, click on the relevant check boxes so they will be excluded; i.e. you can deselect any names you do not want the mass emailing to go to.
- Press the "Confirm" button to perform two actions simultaneously:
a) Notifications are immediately made available on registrants’ accounts
b) Notifications emails are scheduled for automated delivery in batches every 15 minutes.
*You may apply one or more filters to the multiple choice fields (Registrant Types, Registration Order Payment Status, Supporting Docs Status). If you do not apply any, the notification will be sent to All.
Note: The same email signature and header set for the event administration account is automatically assigned so all sent emails are branded.
